As a Wholesale Sales Director you will be responsible for bringing on new accounts, building a worldwide network of agents and distributors and managing existing accounts.
This role has a high level of autonomy and would suite a dynamic person who enjoys the autonomy and excitement of working for a smaller fashion brand with ambitious growth plans.
*Building a worldwide network of agents/ distributors.
*Nurturing and building relationships with Buyers / Heads of Dept.
*Bringing on new business and opening new buying doors.
*Presenting ranges to buyers and closing sales.
*Organizing trade shows attendance.
*Defining strategies by account and door.
*In conjunction with CEO & Director building the seasonal / annual wholesale budgets.
*Analyzing each Market's needs and feeding back to CEO/ Director in a timely manner.
*Following up with product development on SMS status and ensuring showroom set up is planned and actioned in advance of market.
*Ensuring orders are reviewed, relevant feedback given and orders submitted by deadline.
*Work with Operations to ensure delivery status is communicated to accounts in advance of in store dates.
*Working directly with accounts on Marketing initiatives and events.
*Regular visits to top accounts at seasonal launch periods
*Producing and presenting seasonal market feedback, competitor analysis and future opportunities.
*A strong individual with significant experience within the luxury sector, preferably with a similar brand positioning.
*They will have the ability to harness relationships as well as nurture and grow key partnerships.
*They must be well connected with International department store buyers as well as key independents & multiples.
*The role will also require leadership and ownership of all customer facing events which require the selling of seasonal collections.
*Be willing to travel to meet accounts
*English is a must, other languages are highly valued.
*Valid driving license and own transport
*Be based in Barcelona area.
